Assistant Resident Structural Engineer (18-24 months contract)

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Hong Kong Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects such as schools, data centres, casinos and a variety of Government projects.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Carry out supervision of all structural works (including substructures and superstructures) construction and/or conduct design coordination for answering all RFI (request for information);
• Assist the Structural Engineers to resolve the conflict found amongst drawings;
• Ensure the structural works are complying with the regulation and procedures;
• Supervise and monitor the work quality and work progress on site;
• Control and monitor the testing & commissioning activities;
• Prepare reports and keep records of works carried out; and
• Perform other duties on contract management as designated.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need:

• Degree holder in Structural or Civil discipline;
• Fulfill minimum qualification of technically competent person (TCP) T3 for RSE and RGE's stream
• 2-5 years site experience in local building superstructure construction
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
