Assistant Officer

Assistant Officer in the State Key Laboratory of Terahertz and Millimeter Waves (City University of Hong Kong) (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. T/136/25]

Duties

The appointee will be responsible for the routine operation of the laboratory and providing technical support for equipment maintenance and operational safety. Main duties include to

1. Support the maintenance of laboratory equipment and infrastructure;
2. Assist in the management of consumables;
3. Support daily laboratory operations and event coordination; and
4. Perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours.

Requirements

1. At least 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience;
2. Strong sense of responsibility; good teamwork and interpersonal skills, with attention to details; and
3. Good computer literacy in English and Chinese word processing, and MS Office applications are required.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
