Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance

About the role

As the Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance at Resonac Electronic Materials (Hong Kong) Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of the company's electronic materials manufacturing processes. This full-time role is based in the Tai Po Industrial Estate, Tai Po District.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems and processes to meet international standards and customer requirements
• Overseeing the inspection and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify and address any quality issues
• Analysing quality data and generating reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
• Collaborating with production, engineering, and research teams to resolve quality-related problems and optimise manufacturing processes
• Providing training and guidance to quality assurance staff to maintain high standards of quality control
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality, environmental, and safety regulations
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality management system

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Materials Science, or Quality Management
• At least 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the electronics or materials sector
• Thorough understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques, including statistical process control and root cause analysis
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying international quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives and driving continuous improvement
