Assistant Building Surveyor / Draftsman

Due to the rapid expansion of our consultancy services in Hong Kong, we are now seeking suitable applicants to fill up the following vacancies in Vigers Building Consultancy Limited:

Assistant Building Surveyor / Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design, construction and furniture drawings and specifications;
• Prepare statutory submissions to various Government Departments;
• Project management, including tendering and site supervision;
• Undertake condition surveys of different types of buildings and execute defects diagnosis;
• Carry out inspection to historic buildings and supervison of remedial works to meet conservation requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree or Associate Degree in Building Surveying / Architectural Studies / Building / Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent;
• Minimum 2 years working experience in Building Contractor / Building Consultancy / Architectural Firms / Interior Design Firms;
• Minimum 1 year experience in interior design / refurbishment / renovation project;
• Preferably familiar with building ordinances;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch up, 3D rendering and PowerPoint, etc;
• Training will be provided to candidates enrolling for HKIS practical task training / examination;
• Mature with good communication and negotiation skills;
• Self-motivated, detail-minded and strong drawing skills.
