A classic dessert, usually served warm from the oven. The foamy soft texture and the rich vanilla flavour makes it especially heart warming during cold winter days!

Ingredient and Portion
egg yolks 2pieces
egg whites 4pieces
sugar 50g
flour 20g
vanilla essence-several drops
Method
Beat egg yolks lightly, then add in 30g of sugar a little at a time and beat well.
Fold in sifted flour, and stir well until a smooth paste forms.
Add in a few drops of vanilla essence.
Beat egg whites in a clean, dry bowl until fluffy. Add in the remaining 20g of sugar and beat until peaks form. Fold into the other bowl of mixture.
Fill a few heat proof ramekins (or use ceramic cups) with paste.(Fill only up to 80 % of cup). Bake in 200C oven for about 10 minutes. Dust top with a little icing sugar and serve immediately.
Tips
