soak sago pearls in water until clear in colour. Place in collander, and rinse in water. Drain well.
Wash taro and remove skin. Cut into small cubes.
Bring some water to the boil, the put in taro cubes and sugar, cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
Add in sago and cook for another 3 minutes.stir in coconut juice and serve hot or cold.
