Rinse ribsin clean water, pat dry, and coat with a thin layer of cornstarch. Fry or panfry until half done and take out.
Heat some oil, fry green onions, ginger, aniseeds, peppercorns and reb bean sauce, add in ribs and stir until combined. Add a little water and seasonings, stir well and bring to boil, then return to low heat and let simmer until meat is tender and sauce is thick.
