This dish is probably one of the most popular family dishes.You can't help but gulp down bowls of rice with the sweet and flavoursome sauce.

pork ribs 500g
scallions(long pieces)2stalks
ginger slices 2-3
aniseed 2pcs
peppercorns 1tsp
red fermented beancurd 2tbsp
Seasoning
salt 1/2tsp
rock sugar 3tbsp
light soya sauce 3/4tbsp
Method
Rinse ribsin clean water, pat dry, and coat with a thin layer of cornstarch. Fry or panfry until half done and take out.
Heat some oil, fry green onions, ginger, aniseeds, peppercorns and reb bean sauce, add in ribs and stir until combined. Add a little water and seasonings, stir well and bring to boil, then return to low heat and let simmer until meat is tender and sauce is thick.
