Ingredient and Portion
Chicken half
Dark sesame oil 3tbsp
white sesame oil 1tbsp
ginger slices(slightly pressed flat) 6-8slices
rice wine 1cup
Seasoning
Marinade:
some salt
Method
After rinsing chicken under clean water,wipe it dry and cut into pieces. Rub a little salt onto chicken. Poach in water and drain water until dry.
Heat sesame oil in wok,fry ginger slices, add in chicken, stir and fry.
Add in wine, and continue to stir until sauce is boiling. Return to medium heat, and let cook until chicken pieces are tender and sauce is thick.
Tips
dark sesame oil can be bought from locak grocer stores. Substitute with white sesame sauce if not available.
