Soy products are widely known for its nutritous value. Although this beancurd dessert is widely available in many restaurants and supermarkets, homemade versions are especially rich in soy flavour. A healthy snack or dessert for both old and young.

Ingredient and Portion
Beancurd ingredients:
yellow soya beans 320g
water 7 cups
edible calcium carbonate 1 tsp
cornstarch 1 tbsp
Syrup to serve:
water 1 cup
sugar 250g
lemon 2 slices
Seasoning
Method
Soak beans in water for 6 hours, then rinse well.
Tips
製作豆腐花的用具必須清潔,不可有油或者其他雜質,否則豆腐花不會凝結。
加檸檬可除去糖漿裡的雜物,同時亦可增加香味,可用檸檬,可轉用醋。
想加其他如朱古力味、芝麻味,先將配料磨成粉末或煮成漿汁,與黃豆水一同煮滾。
如欲做豆漿,可依步驟1至5,於煮滾黃豆水時加4-8杯水,加糖煮滾隔去泡沫便成。
