Wash ribs, wipe dry then marinade.
Heat some oil in pan, then shallow fry ribsu until golden.
Heat oil again in wok, fry green onions,ginger, add in ribs and wine. Stir fry, then place in a clay pot (if available), add seasonings and aniseed along with enough water just to cover the ribs. Simmer over medium or low heat until meat is tender.
