Eating frog's legs may sound disgusting to some people, yet many Chinese love eating frog because the meat is tender and it is said to be nutritous and good for health.

Ingredient and Portion
rice 150g
frog meat 3pcs
Chinese dried mushrooms 4large pieces
red dates 8pcs
diced scallions 1tbsp
Seasoning
Marinade for frogs:
ginger juice 1tsp
light soya sauce 1tsp
cornstarch 1tsp
oil 1tsp
salt 1/2tsp
sugar 1/2tsp
some pepper,sesame oil and minced garlic

For the sauce:
combine some cooked oil with some soya sauce

Method
Remove intestines and organs of frogs. (This can be done by fish stall if requested).
Cut into smaller pieces, and marinade for 10 minutes.
Soak mushrooms in water until soft and then dice. Combine with frogs. Wash red dates and remove pith, then dice.
Wash rice, then combine with 1tsp oil, salt and some water and cook rice in rice cooker. Add in frogs and mushrooms after 2 minutes.
When rice is just ready, put in red dates and cover rice cooker for a while.
serve with suace and diced scallions.
