Roasting is one of the best way to lock in the juice in a piecce of steak. Although it is simply seasoned with a pinch of salt, it can still be flavourful if a good piece of steak is used. Adjust roasting time to your own preference.

Ingredient and Portion
steak 1pc
Minced garlic 2tsp
canned button mushrooms 1 can
Seasoning
cracked black pepper 1/2tsp
salt 1/4tsp
Method
Mix minced garlic with cracked black peppers, and rub onto steak and marinade for a while.
Place steak in preheated hot oven.
When steak is half done, place mushrooms and a little salt on top and roast for another 2 minutes and serve.
Tips
Roasting times:
medium rare 3-5minutes
done 5-7minutes
well done 7-9minutes

When roasting, turn steak over only once.
