Security Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring client systems and networks for security issues, investigating security breaches, installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, documenting security breaches, and performing tests to uncover network vulnerabilities. Additionally, the Cybersecurity Analyst will stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards, develop company-wide best practices for IT security, perform penetration testing, research security enhancements, and make recommendations to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor client system and networks for security issues.
• Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
• Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
• Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause and provide Incident Response.
• Perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
• Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards.
• Develop company-wide best practices for IT security for customers.
• Perform penetration testing.
• Research security enhancements and make recommendations to customers.

 Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or a related field
• 3 years of experience in information security or related field.
• Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
• Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
• Having experience on Microsoft Security product is an absolute advantage.
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
• Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
• Professional certifications in information security such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, CEH are an advantage but not a must.
• Eager to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated, analytical, and curious mindset.
• Candidates with supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
