Merchandiser (Accessories - Gloves/ Hats/ Packs) - Arc'teryx

We are seeking Development Merchandiser (Accessories - Gloves/ Hats/ Packs)to join Arc’teryx in Hong Kong Office.

As a Development Merchandiser, you are responsible for managing products from design approval through to production readiness, supporting our ability to deliver on time and providing an exceptional consumer experience.  Your innovative and solutions-focused approach to development and commercialization ensures that each product you work on meets Arc'teryx design intent, supply chain requirements and contributes to our ability to scale in a skilled capable manufacturing base.

Key responsibilities:

• Product Development & Commercialization: Overseeing the transition from product creation to manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery.

• Collaboration: Working with various departments to achieve product design intent and quality standards.

• Vendor Communication: Coordinating with global vendors and factory to meet specifications and standards.

• Manufacturing Input: Providing input to improve scalability, efficiency, and quality in manufacturing.

• Bill of Materials (BOM): Managing tech pack information for efficient raw material sourcing and purchasing.

• Cost & Quality Management: Supporting cost estimates, vendor negotiations, and managing seasonal updates.

Requirements:

• Graduates in textile, apparel, clothing (not a must)
• 3 years or above experience in accessories, including Gloves, Toques, Hats, Socks, Packs, Gears etc.
• Experience in creating production orders based on tech packs, product costing and product lifecycle process
• Knowledge of garment construction, production and size fit
• Ability to travel globally to offshore vendors and manufacturers accordingly to business needs
• Effective communication skills with both internal and external parties in both Chinese and English

• Pro-active problem solving, detail-oriented and organized person with strong interpersonal skills
