Business Analyst/IT Project Officer

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Business Analyst / IT Project Officer to join our team. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in driving strategic technology initiatives and project management to support the company's business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support new system implementations and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop technical solutions that address business needs
• Produce detailed functional specifications, user stories, and related documentation to guide the development process.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements and standards
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks and issues
• Propose new business initiatives to drive continuous improvement of IT systems and processes

What we're looking for

• Relevant bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or IT Project Officer, ideally in the financial services industry
• Expertise in business analysis methodologies, project management, and system implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with business and IT teams
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with project management and business analysis tools is preferable
• Knowledge of multimedia or IT project management knowledge would be advantageous
