Operation Trainee- Business Development

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for high caliber candidates to join into the freight forwarding industry.  The successful candidates will be led by Senior Management through comprehensive training programme, on-the-job training, job rotations and mentoring.  You will gain practical field work exposure to interact with different stakeholders which will enrich your professional knowledge and equip you to rise to Supervisory level and beyond.

Job Description :

• Understand and work closely with each department’s daily processes and goals to ensure smooth daily operation
• Liaise with customers, warehouses, liners and overseas agents
• To develop the knowledge base and skill sets necessary for future management assignments.
• Approach potential customers, maintain and develop existing accounts, handling customers' inquiries and quotation
• Assist in marketing and sales efforts, handle customer inquiries, explore new business opportunities, approach potential customers to develop a new customer base, and promote the company's services.
• Contribute on free hand cargo and able to develop the client base
• Perform cargo planning, maintain close communication with clients, overseas agents, shipping lines/ Prepare reports and market updates
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by management

Requirements :

• Higher Diploma or above (Degree holder in Logistics, Supply Chain Management is preferred)

• Candidate with 0-2 year experience and fresh graduates are welcome
• Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment and explore in freight forwarding industry
• Willing to learn, try and challenge new things
• Self-motivated and presentable
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
