Job Description

Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Ads Editor/Strategist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in crafting high-performing video advertisements that drive client success on various online platforms. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of video ad creation, from strategic planning and concept development to editing and optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Video Ad Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive video ad strategies aligned with client objectives and target audiences.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for effective video advertising.
    • Create detailed storyboards and scripts that effectively convey brand messages.
  • Video Ad Editing & Production:

    • Trim and combine footage segments to create compelling and engaging video ads.
    • Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design to enhance ad performance.
    • Ensure all video ads adhere to platform-specific requirements and best practices.
    • Prepare rough and final cuts of video ads for client review and approval.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization:

    • Monitor and analyze video ad performance metrics (e.g., click-through rates, conversion rates).
    • Implement A/B testing and optimize video ads to maximize ROI.
    • Provide regular reports and insights on video ad performance to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Collaborate with marketing, design, and client teams to ensure seamless execution of video ad campaigns.
    • Effectively communicate creative concepts and technical requirements.
    • Work effectively with team members.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in video editing and/or digital advertising, with a focus on video ads.
  • Proven track record of creating high-performing video ads for online platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising metrics and analytics.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in agencies/companies focused on online marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of video ad best practices.
