Reporter, Young Post

In this role, you will:

• Be part of a team that produces print and online news and features for teenagers in Hong Kong and the rest of Asia.
• Contribute story ideas of interest to teenage readers
• Mentor teens keen in journalism
• Be responsible for engagement with readers via social media and other Young Post activities

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

• Bachelors’ degree in any major
• Journalism or teaching experience preferred, but not a must
• Keen interest in current teenage issues
• Keen interest in current affairs, both local and international.
• Fluent in English, able to write good copy in English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Ability to produce and edit videos plus
• Be an active and engaged team player. Passionate about Young Post’s mission.
• Willing to travel/work weekends.
• Come up with creative ideas to connect with students.
• A working knowledge of HKDSE and IB issues and challenges.
