Project Manager (Overseas Environmental Project)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full tendering process from tender preparation to submission in E & M systems for water, sewage treatment and solid waste plants in Overseas Project;
• Report regularly on the status of tender submission and projects in hand;
• Submit tenders taking into consideration capability and availability of resources and current and future project requirements;
• Identify potential risks and uncertainties in tender documents and project specifications;
• Monitor overall technical, quality, contractual and financial matters of assigned projects meeting project criteria, technical standards, and client expectations;
• Lead post-tender negotiations and support contract finalization;
• Negotiate prices with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive bids;
• Assign job responsibilities to team members, and review tender submission and associated works;
• To safeguard company’s interests at all stages in respect of all financial, commercial, contractual and technical details;
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as may be necessary from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in managing E&M or Environmental projects with 5 years managerial level working experience;
• Professional membership of recognized Engineering Institutes, e.g. HKIE, IMechE, IET etc.
• Sensitive in market trend and strong analytical skill.
• Proficient in both written English and Chinese;
• Self-motivated, Independent and able to work under pressure;
• Experience in Mainland and Overseas Project are preferred;
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for Assistant Project Manager;
• Occasional overseas business trips are required.
