Job Description

The Group Talent Development Manager will serve as the regional Center of Excellence (CoE) lead for talent development across 11 entities in Asia. This role will partner with country HR heads to develop and execute succession planning for leadership and technical positions, manage the full cycle of various talent programs, and drive career development initiatives for identified talents. The role also involves preparing board presentation materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with country HR heads to develop and execute succession planning for leadership teams and technical positions.
  • Manage the full cycle of various talent development programs, including identification, development, and retention of high-potential employees.
  • Connect with identified talents to plan and drive their career development and individual development plans.
  • Prepare board presentation materials related to talent development and succession planning.
  • Act as a regional CoE lead, ensuring best practices in talent development are implemented across all entities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align talent development strategies with business goals.
  • Represent the region to lead global talent development projects and ensure they are translated effectively into the local context.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in talent development, succession planning, or a related HR function, preferably with experience in a regional or multi-country role.
  • Strong understanding of talent development and succession planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
