Senior Resident Quantity Surveyor (SRQS) / Resident Quantity Surveyor (RQS)

We are looking for qualified Quantity Surveyors for site-based positions in Kowloon East area.

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the project team at the head office, carry out general consultant Quantity Surveying duties including valuation of variations, interim payment valuations, cost estimating, reviewing contractors’ quotations and claims, negotiation and settlement of final accounts, etc.
• Liaise with contractors and related parties
• Attend meetings with various stakeholders of the project
• Collaborate and maintain an amicable working relationship with the Client, the site team and other project stakeholders
• Report to the project team leader at the head office and perform duties on site with minimum supervision

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
• Minimum 9 years relevant quantity surveying experience with at least 4 years post MHKIS professional qualifications (SRQS) / Minimum 3 years relevant quantity surveying experience (RQS)
• Ability to coordinate efforts and work independently
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidate with experience working in Quantity Surveying Consultant and immediate availability is preferable
