P&T (M&E) Limited invites applications to apply the following site staff position:

Assistant Building Services Inspector (ABSI)

ASSISTANT BUILDING SERVICES INSPECTOR (ABSI)

The minimum qualifications required for the post of Assistant Building Services Inspector shall be as follows:

• A Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University or technical institute or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years solid experience in the capacity of Assistant Building Services Inspector
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the installation, maintenance or operation or engineering services in hotel, residential or composite building project or equivalent
• Registered Electrical Worker (Class B0) or licensed plumber
• Familiar with government regulations and code of practice specification
• Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) before 2007, or equivalent
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel and Project

Duties

Assist Building Services Engineer in all aspects of building services work and carried out other duties directed by Building Services Inspector.

[Note * Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.]
