Garment Assistant Merchandiser / Sales Coordinator (Menswear Activewear)

New Progress H.K. Limited is a family-owned garment exporter with over 40 years of experience, specializing in men’s activewear for the U.S., Mexico, Japan, and European markets. We manage fabric sourcing, trims, and production through our own China factory (Suntex) and partner factories, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and lead times.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Assistant Merchandiser / Sales Coordinator to support our international customers, coordinate sampling and production, and ensure on-time delivery.
This position offers exposure to both merchandising and creative sales development, with opportunities to participate in international trade shows in the U.S. and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with international customers on design selections, sample progress, and production timelines.
• Prepare sales orders, invoices, and related follow-up documents.
• Assist in sourcing fabrics and trims; coordinate with suppliers and support purchasing activities.

• Follow up with factory teams to ensure samples are completed within 2–3 weeks.

• Track bulk orders from confirmation through shipment to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain accurate order records, costing sheets, and customer requirement files.
• Participate in overseas trade shows (U.S. and Europe, every 3–6 months) to present products and support sales meetings.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.

• 2–5 years’ experience in garment merchandising/export (activewear experience preferred).

• A background in Fashion Design or related disciplines is an advantage.

• Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin / Cantonese is an advantage.

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple orders efficiently.

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop and a good eye for design.
