Senior Manager, Brokerage Partnership Business Development

Our client, a leading insurance company is currently seeking a team head to drive brokerage partnership distribution, specializing in local brokerage and IFA business partners.


Responsibilities:

• Report to head of brokerage distribution, leading a business development team to drive local brokerage and IFA distribution business with business partners

• Create new business opportunities and drive the ongoing evolution of the different distribution channels and platforms
• Manage sales performance with team members, regularly reviewing the results of assigned accounts against established sales KPIs
• Build and sustain strong relationships with partners and key personnel to implement new initiatives, harness business potential, and increase market penetration
• Conduct periodic evaluations of business performance and sales practices among brokers to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
• Handle daily partner-related challenges while maintaining exceptional service standards
• Share innovative ideas, industry best practices, and market insights with colleagues, fostering a collaborative team environment
• Ensure that any team members involved in regulated activities hold the necessary licenses and meet all licensing requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 10 years business development experience and 3 years managerial experience in insurance or banking industries
• ⁠Solid knowledge of insurance and investment products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ⁠Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Fluent on mandarin speaking is a plus
