Project Manager (Automotive Components)

Location:  Suzhou, China

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary project lead and primary English-language contact for customer communication, requirements, and reviews.

• Lead the end-to-end management of complex automotive projects, ensuring on-time delivery to quality and budget.

• Manage all project documentation and processes in strict accordance with IATF 16949, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans.

• Provide expert guidance on injection molding and tooling processes, overseeing design, fabrication, validation, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement) to achieve all project milestones.
• Identify, mitigate, and report on project risks to senior management and international stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.

• Full professional fluency in English is mandatory(e.g., CET-6/IELTS 6.5+/TOEIC 800+/TOEFL iBT 95+ or equivalent practical ability). You must be able to:

  • Lead and facilitate technical discussions and project reviews confidently.
  • Negotiate timelines and technical requirements directly with English-speaking clients.
  • Write comprehensive, clear, and detailed technical reports and documentation.

Please note: The interview process will include a practical assessment of English communication skills.

• Minimum of 5 years of direct project management experience within the automotive supply chain.

• Expert, practical knowledge of IATF 16949 and its core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Substantial hands-on experience with plastic injection molding, mold tooling, and validation processes.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
