SENIOR MERCHANDISER (Fine Jewellery Category)

Support the Head of Business, you will an important person being part of a core team working closely with all business and functional leaders to contribute directly in product and business strategies, planning an inventory control, pricing as well as vendor management.

 The job 

• Assess existing and recommend the right product mix; procure a merchandise plan that meets the market trends as well as the company long-term business objectives
• Ensure consistent and aligned corporate and business performance metrics are achieved and maintained by the team; support daily merchandise services and seasonal campaigns and other activities
• Build a strong vendor portfolio and positive vendor relationships to ensure the swift and smooth flow of merchandise for retail and other selling channels
• Set competitive pricing points  and work closely with retail and other business units and expand successful product lines while balancing with market trend and consumer demand
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to build strong product reputation and ensure the sales performance are achieved

• Provide analytics and reports with in depth insights for management key business decisions

  
  

The Person:

• Minimum 8 years in product sourcing and merchandising in fine jewellery.  Specific expertise in product design is definite advantage
• Passionate and good knowledge in jewellery market trend
• Creative, effective problem solver, a fast learner who is able to take up challenges within an ever-changing business environment
• Ability to work under minimum supervision, manage multi-tasks, set priorities, work with diverse background of people from different levels
• Excellent planning, ability to prioritize and strong execution
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel (including Vlookup and Pivot Table) and PowerPoint
