Executive Assistant II, Office of Executive Director

Venerable Master Hsing Yun, together with his disciples, established more than 16 Buddhist colleges, five universities, and many primary schools, secondary schools and kindergartens. Upholding Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s philosophy of "cultivating virtue through education", in recent years, Fo Guang Shan HK has been delivering Diploma Programmes, which is validated by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) at Qualifications Framework Level 3, collaborating with Fo Guang University to deliver Master degree programmes, and collaborating with the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong to establish the Centre for Humanistic Buddhism. On 21 June 2025, the Hong Kong Humanistic Education Centre (HECHK) is formally established by Fo Guang Shan HK to manage all programmes at postgraduate levels and collaborations with tertiary institutions.

Reporting to the Executive Director of the HECHK, the appointee will play a key role in supporting the planning and reporting, administration, academic and communications affairs of the Office of the Executive Director. The appointee will be responsible for the following:

  1. Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, manage daily operations and workflows, and assist in developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures. Provide classroom supports to students and manage office and teaching facilities at the HECHK.

  2. Project Management: Oversee and coordinate assigned projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with institutional goals. Maintain annual and monthly administrative working plans, calendars and reports.

  3. Monitoring and Reporting:Monitor the progress of administrative tasks and projects, and prepare comprehensive reports and documents for Fo Guang Shan, local accreditation bodies, and partner institutions and organizations.

  4. Stakeholder and Communication Engagement:Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director, faculty, staff, and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication within the HECHK. Manage all administrative and academic digital platforms, press release, and social media of the HECHK.

  5. Meeting Coordination and Event Organization:Support the Executive Director in organizing and coordinating meetings, events, workshops, seminars, talks, activities, and ceremonies, while managing related logistics and participant communication.

  6. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants should possess: (i) A good Bachelor's degree. (ii) An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua). (iii) Proficiency in reporting and information management, including Microsoft Words, Excel, Powerpoint. (iv) Excellent Team Work, and strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. (v) The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks under pressure, and maintain a high level of attention to detail. (vi) A strong commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards. (vii) Passionate about Buddhist culture and humanities education.

The appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to two years, commencing as soon as possible, and may be renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

行政助理II,主任辦公室 Executive Assistant II, Office of Executive Director

佛光山開山祖師星雲大師與弟子們先後創辦了十六所佛學院、五所大學及多所中小學、幼稚園。秉承星雲大師"以教育培養美德"的理念,近年來香港佛光道場相繼推出獲香港學術及職業資歷評審局資歷架構第三級認可的文憑課程,與佛光大學合辦碩士課程,並與香港恒生大學合作成立"人間佛教研習中心"。2025年6月21日,香港佛光道場更正式成立"香港人文教育中心"(簡稱“中心”),統籌所有研究生課程及大專院校合作項目。

該職位需向中心執行總監彙報,主要職責包括:

  1. 行政支持:為中心提供高級行政支援,管理日常運作流程,協助制定與落實行政政策。為中心學員提供課堂支援,管理教學設施。

  2. 專案管理:統籌指定專案,確保按時推進並與機構目標保持一致。維護年度/月度行政工作計畫、日程及報告。

  3. 監督彙報:跟蹤行政工作進度,向佛光山、本地認證機構及合作院校提交綜合報告。

  4. 溝通聯絡:作為中心管理人員與教職員、利益相關方的溝通橋樑。管理中心所有行政及學術數字平臺、新聞稿及社交媒體。

  5. 會議活動:協助籌辦會議、工作坊、研討會、講座及典禮活動,處理後勤及參會者聯絡。

  6. 其他職責:執行上級交辦任務。

應聘者須具備:(一) 良好學士學位。 (二) 優異中英文(粵語及普通話)書面及口語能力。 (三)  熟練的文書處理與資訊管理能力, 包括Microsoft Office(Word、Excel、PowerPoint)及基本網站管理工具。(四)  具備團隊合作精神。(五) 能在壓力下獨立處理多工並保持細緻。(六)恪守誠信、保密及職業道德。(七)對佛教文化及人文教育有熱忱。

該職位以合約形式聘任,首期兩年(儘快到崗),表現良好經雙方同意可續約。
