Assistant Key Account Manager/Key Account Manager
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering sales results, productivity and performance KPI within the agreed budgets and goals and timescales
- Support the development of business strategies and in executing consistent sales initiatives including but not limited to customer events, sales and marketing campaigns, sales presentations so as to deliver the targets and goals
- Strong relationships with decision-makers of major customers, understand their needs and provide excellent services to exceed expectations
- Collaborate with marketing team to align sales campaigns with promotional activities
- Work closely with internal teams e.g. Marketing, Production, and Logistics Teams to ensure that customers different product needs are met, ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Analyze market trends and historical data to create accurate sales and inventory forecasts
- Identify and assess new market segments and channels for growth
- Conduct regular reports on sales performance and analysis for management review
- Regular store visits to observe market changes and competitor activities as well as identify business opportunities
- Handle enquiries and complaints quickly and professionally and in accordance with company procedures
Accountable for penetrating markets to upkeep our leading position in the field
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines
- Minimum 6-10 years’ experience in handling retail key accounts in FMCG industry
- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic
- Ability to manage priorities, be organized, and work well under pressure
- Candidates with more experience and exposure will be considered for Key Account Manager
