Technical Project Managers for GCP projects

Position Summary

Manage and drive various IT teams, such as application, infrastructure, operations, security and procurement; and act as a single accountable party to manage IT projects delivery.  For the projects overall managed by ITD, the IT-PM is responsible for performing project management functions, including project preparation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, which covers the related areas in scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality, communication, security, procurement and stakeholders, in order to achieve the project objectives within the given constraints and aligning with system development standards.  For any project overall managed by project management department, IT-PM would work with other department’s project manager to manage IT related tasks.

Requirement

·       University graduate in Management Information System, Computer Science or related discipline is preferred;

·       Minimum 5 years’ work experience in system implementation or IT Data projects or AI projects management on GCP, which cover the followings:

o   Sound leadership, project management and presentation skills

o   GCP project experiences are mandatory; With knowledge on GCP cloud services

o   Project experience with regulator is an advantage

o   Strong capability of stakeholder communication and management;

o   Strong capability of analytical thinking, problem solving;

o   Self-motivated, detail-oriented, mature and independent;

o   Excellent decision-making skills and conflict management skills;

o   Good team player and able to work under pressure and tight schedules;

o   Project management qualification (e.g. PMP, CSM) is an advantage;

o   Experience in managing scaled Cloud Data projects is an advantage

o   Experience in using Confluence, Jira is an advantage

o   Working knowledge in Banking sector is an advantage

·       Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese is mandatory, and fair Mandarin.
