Description

Product Data Analyst assists the Manager, Data & Growth in product research and development. The role is to monitor the success of product features, as well as to guide exploration and decision-making. Product Analyst is also responsible for maintaining the data integrity, involves in data governance, and utilizes data to drive value across the business.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with different teams to determine data requirement to satisfy business needs and support analytics for product initiatives.
• Participate in the sprint planning on product development using agile methodology.
• Assist in the investigation and prioritization of product initiatives.
• Conduct and evaluate A/B tests and user tests to guide decision-making on product development.
• Create metrics to optimize existing products.
• Monitor success of product feature and performance.
• Involve in data planning, collection, verification, as well as data cleaning and analysis.
• Increase reach of data analysis results within Vyond and provide user insight by blending data with the understanding of user needs developed through various quantitative or qualitative research.
• Assist the Manager, Data & Growth to develop a clear data strategy and to conduct benchmarking studies.
• Able to learn best practices for data management and data processes and support the Information Security team to implement data security across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• With minimum 2 years’ experience in software development and data analysis.
• Attention to detail, able to work independently and learn on-the-fly.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable goals.
• Critical thinking skills to recommend original and productive ideas.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hands on working knowledge on a relational database management system, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL is required.
• Strong statistical foundations.
• Fluent English is a must, Cantonese proficiency is desirable.
