Job Description

(Monthly Salary of HK$20,770 to HK$35,080)

The Duties

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for the Anti-Sexual Harassment Unit, including but not limited to managing correspondences and files, answering telephone calls and taking messages, arranging meetings and training sessions, booking pool vehicles and facilities, receiving visitors, and maintaining team diaries.
  • Assist senior staff with various tasks, such as conducting research, managing the Unit’s online platforms, completing basic translation assignments, organising public education events, and producing promotional materials.
  • Perform general data entry, word and spreadsheet processing tasks and basic drawing and design assignments using relevant software and applications.
  • Arrange minor purchases or procurements of goods and services related to the Unit’s operations and objectives.
  • Provide back up support to senior staff and handle enquiries related to the anti-discrimination ordinances when necessary.
  • Represent the Unit in cross-functional working groups within the EOC as required.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned, including but not limited to internal transfers to other divisions within the EOC.

 The Person

  • University degree holder in social sciences, humanities or related disciplines, with proficiency in both Chinese and English including oral, reading and writing competences.
  • -Skilled in word and spreadsheet processing and related desktop software and mobile applications, such as Microsoft 365 and social media tools.
  • With relevant work experience, preferably gained from statutory bodies, sizable public organisations or non-governmental organisations.
  • Proactive, flexible and collaborative team player, possessing effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eager to learn and develop diverse skills; willing to take up extra duties with a growth mindset.
  • Possesses basic organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • General awareness of issues relating to discrimination and equal opportunities; and committed to EOC’s vision and mission.

Candidates who do not possess a bachelor’s degree but are dedicated to embarking on a career in the EOC and confident that their knowledge, skills and work experiences will enable them to take on the duties of the above post can also apply.  If selected, the entry salary will be at HK$17,200 or above depending on the selected candidate’s relevant qualifications, experiences and current earnings.

The selected candidate will start his/her career in the Anti-Sexual Harassment Unit of the EOC. During the employment with the EOC, he/she may be required to undertake alternative duties and/or be requested to take up special assignments for operational or staff development purpose(s) within or outside the function different from their original position and/or Division.

 [Appointment will be on three-year agreement terms renewable depending on service needs and performance.  The remuneration package will consist of a basic salary and a cash allowance in accordance with the Commission’s policy.   入職要求

  • 擁有社會科學、人文科學或相關學科的學士學位,精通中文和英文(包括說話、閱讀和書寫能力)
  • 熟悉文字和試算表處理及相關電腦軟件和流動應用程式,例如Microsoft 365及社交媒體工具
  • 具備相關工作經驗,曾任職法定機構、大規模公營機構或非政府組織者為佳
  • 積極主動、靈活變通且具有團隊合作精神,擁有良好的溝通和人際交往能力
  • 熱衷於學習和發展多元技能;樂意承擔額外職務,並積極求進
  • 具備基本組織能力,能夠有效管理時間並按時完成任務
  • 對歧視和平等機會相關議題有一般認識,致力實踐平機會的抱負及使命

沒有學士學位但有志在平機會開展事業,而且有信心其知識、技能及工作經驗能勝任上述工作者也可應徵。有關人士如獲得聘用,入職薪酬會定於港幣 17,200 元或以上,視乎其相關履歷、工作經驗和現職薪酬而定。
