Buying Manager

Job Duties:

• Manage the end-to-end buying process, including budget planning, liaison with suppliers and brands etc.
• Implementing merchandise selection and assortment
• Achieve sales, GP and inventory target in line with business objectives
• Formulate the sales forecast, OTB budget and drive the buying activities in accordance with business strategies
• Analyze market trends and competitors; provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain constructive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and wholesales partners for business development
• Oversee the preparation and timely follow-up of purchasing and wholesale orders to ensure accuracy and smooth execution
• Monitor merchandise flow and stock management processes, including allocation, replenishment, and consolidation.
• Execute product training to ensure competent product knowledge of frontline staff
• Prepare regular reports to review sales performance and inventory levels; handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion & Textiles or a related field disciplines
• 5 years solid buying experience gained from fashion retail; prior exposure to womenswear will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with wholesale and franchise business preferred.
• Strong fashion and market trend awareness, with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and well-organized.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong command of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel overseas
