Assistant Vice President, Infrastructure Support

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration to ensure Infrastructure hardware and services operate efficiently
• Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and recommend improvement
• Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis and performance tuning; troubleshooting problems; escalating problems to vendor if necessary
• Create virtual machines, storage units, and container systems
• Perform system backup administration, systems upgrade by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating and installing enhancements
• Perform hardware and software procurement for new projects and/or upgrades and ensure annual subscriptions renewed on time
• Work with users and application/development team to set up infrastructure for new applications/systems

• Occasional non-office hour work is required
   

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in system support in financial institute preferred, with at least 3 years in system administration role and with knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating systems
• Experience in Server hardware, SAN storage systems, Hyper-converged systems, server backup systems, VM management and experience in Windows server, Active Directory, Exchange preferable
• With experience in Container platforms, VDI an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua an advantage
