Job Description
Responsibilities:
· *Maintain and optimize existing procurement policies, guidelines, processes and procedures;
· Responsible for sourcing and tendering activities;
· Manage and responsible for tender/RFQ documentation;
· Coordinate and lead the tendering/RFQ processes;
· *Lead supplier management activities, including but not limited to supplier database maintenance, supplier qualification, evaluation and assessment;
· Price and contract negotiation to meet the best interest of CRRC’s projects;
· Responsible for contract execution (subcontracts concluding, deliveries, QS etc);
· *Coach and support junior staff;
· *Lead research to identify potential qualified suppliers, product trends, new industry standards;
· Collect and maintain the industry’s up-to-date knowledge database of supply market, capabilities and technology;
· Understand and coordinate logistics and customs relevant activities when required;
· Liaison and collaborate with internal stakeholders to perform required duties.
Requirements:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:
· University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
· Experience in infrastructure railway projects is an advantage
· Familiar with state-owned company’s operation
· *5-8 years of supply chain or related work experience
· Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
· Result-driven, strong organizing skill, quality-focused, self-initiative, and flexible;
· Attention to detail
· Sensitive to numbers
· Willingness to frequent international business travel
· Well-versed in PC and Office/WPS applications
· Proficiency in English and Chinese speaking, reading and writing is a must.
