What you'll be doing

As Quality Assurance Technologist, you will be involved in the following
 

• Management of the testing on customer multiple accounts and attending customer meetings to ensure product compliance.
• Requesting, checking and filing test reports from manufacturers to ensure Technical files complete.
• Updating the testing tracker to enable test cost monitoring.
• Administration of the critical path on own accounts to ensure effective CP meetings.
• Requesting and logging gold seals.
• Undertake and own product risk assessments to Fizz, retailer’s  and market requirements to ensure product compliance and safety.
• Liaising with nominated test house to arrange required test in line with UK, EU, US, AUS and other market legislation / customer requirements to ensure product compliance and safety.
• Keep testing matrices up to date, review product test costs and recommend ideas for cost price reduction to minimise test costs whilst ensuring product compliance and safety.
• Advising on correct warnings and symbols for product packaging, instruction manuals and rating labels to ensure product compliance and safety.
• Ensure customer / supplier complaints and enquiries are effectively handled. Work proactively with the suppliers and product development departments to reduce returns rates.
• Advanced process writing to ensure SOPs and guides reflect current practice.
• Participate in the on-boarding process for new factories to ensure factory capability and ethical compliance.
• Review and update processes and cross train within team to achieve efficiencies.
• Assess and feedback to the Business upcoming Regulatory and Technical requirements to maintain a growing business area.

• A well organised, flexible approach to the role and able to prioritise and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong excel skills, experience of Microsoft Office 365.
• An interest in Quality Assurance in a fast changing industry.
