Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and support the full logistics process for international shipments. This role involves coordinating shipments from suppliers in China to either customer-nominated forwarders or directly to our warehouses in the UK and US. The ideal candidate will be experienced in international shipping, highly organized, and capable of managing documentation, supplier communication, and logistics arrangements across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination

• Coordinate outbound shipments from suppliers in China to:

  • Customer-nominated freight forwarders (FOB terms).
  • Company warehouses in the UK and US (FOB + destination freight).
• Container consolidation and utilization.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork.Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
• Track and monitor shipments, proactively resolving delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and generate logistics reports for internal use.

Supplier & Logistics Management

• Communicate with suppliers to ensure goods are ready for shipment according to agreed Incoterms (primarily FOB).
• Review and confirm supplier shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Arrange freight and delivery for shipments going to company warehouses, including customs clearance and final-mile logistics.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

• Purchase and coordinate delivery of packaging materials (e.g., labels, polybags) based on customer requirements.
• Arrange and track delivery of pre-production and gold seal samples to customers or internal teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong understanding of international shipping practices, Incoterms (especially FOB), and trade compliance.
• Experience with logistics documentation and working with freight forwarders and customs brokers. Building excellent supply chain relationships.
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS/TMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills in English and Mandarin.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Good team player. Ready to help and resolve issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing shipments from Asia to Europe and North America.
• Familiarity with packaging procurement and sample logistics.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on cost efficiency and operational excellence.

12 months salary (not 13).
