Senior Merchandiser

About the role

Aiwa Asia Ltd. is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in driving the strategy and development of our innovative home, kitchen and beauty Appliance portfolio. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of key products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvements and new offerings
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing teams to bring products from concept to launch
• Analyse product performance data and user feedback to make data-driven decisions about product enhancements
• Clearly communicate product goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders
• Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement, ensuring smooth transitions and maximum value
• Keep a pulse on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy
• Responsible for sourcing high‑quality products from vendors, negotiating favorable terms, and maintaining clear, professional communication to ensure timely delivery and strong supplier relationships.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in product management in the home/kitchen/beauty appliances industry
• Proven track record of sourcing, developing and/or launching successful products
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to come up with creative and innovative solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient in using product management tools and methodologies.
• Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
