About this role:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Officer to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system administration for office environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Windows, macOS, software and hardware IT support, ensuring seamless operation for end-users and maintaining system integrity.
Key responsibilities:
1.Mac Desktop Environment Management:deployment, configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Mac systems, including hardware/software upgrades and issue resolution
2.Office Network Maintenance & Optimization:
- Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot office LAN/WLAN infrastructure (routers, switches, APs, firewalls, etc.)
- Diagnose and optimize WiFi coverage, performance, and stability by reducing interference and enhancing user experience
- Implement necessary security measures to safeguard network and endpoint devices
3.Workplace Equipment Support:Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of office peripherals including printers, telephones, and video conferencing systems.
4.Storage Server Operations:
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain storage servers
- Design and implement access control policies to strictly isolate sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access
- Develop data backup, disaster recovery plans and emergency protocols, regularly testing recovery procedure reliability
Requirements:
- Graduated with a High Diploma or above in Computer Studies, Information Technology, or related fields
- At least 2 years working experience in technical support role, preferably in Mac OS and Office productivity suites
- Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols with ability in wireless network optimization and troubleshooting (e.g. VLAN/QoS/Wi-Fi)
- Experience in Linux Server Operations and Maintenance, storage server permission architecture design
- Good understanding of cybersecurity practices: firewall policies, access control, data encryption, and fundamental attack/defense techniques
- Familiar with RAID/LVM storage management technologies and backup tools (e.g. rsync/Bacula)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
- Good command in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
