The Product Buyer – F&B is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food and beverage products for the company’s portfolio. This role ensures the right products are available at the right time, quality, and cost, in line with the company’s standards and customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source and select F&B suppliers, maintaining strong relationships and evaluating performance.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
• Analyze market trends, consumer demands, and competitor activity to identify new product opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, quality, sales, marketing) to ensure alignment on product specifications, packaging, and availability.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, avoiding overstock and shortages.
• Evaluate product quality, compliance with regulations, and food safety standards.
• Conduct regular product and supplier reviews to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business strategy.
• Manage contracts and purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Support the launch of new products and seasonal assortments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience, even brief, in food & beverage or similar environments.
• Familiarity with buying procedures and control systems.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Teamwork skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of food products, supply chain processes, and market dynamics.
• Working knowledge of MS Office software/ERP systems.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Flexibility in working hours, with the ability to adapt to supplier time zones or urgent procurement needs.

• Working Days: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. with one hour from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 13 p.m. on Saturday
• Working Hours: 44 hours per week
