Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications using Java programming language
- Analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical specifications
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software programs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet business needs
- Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards
- Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Java programming
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines
- At least 2 years of working experience in Java programming
- Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate)
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
- Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level software applications
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (REST, SOAP)
- Ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
