Wealth Management Engineer - FDM Group

About The Role

We are helping a leading financial institution to look a few Software Engineer (Java/Python) to join their dynamic team.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applications supporting Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) trading and risk management.
• Integrate with market data feeds, pricing engines, and trading platforms for FICC products.
• Implement APIs and middleware to connect front-office trading systems with middle/back-office operations.
• Optimize performance for low-latency trade execution and high-volume transaction processing.
• Support analytics modules for valuation, risk metrics (e.g., VaR, P&L), and scenario simulations.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and business analysts to translate FICC business requirements into technical solutions.

About You

What we look for

• You hold a university degree level (bachelor or higher)
• Java or Python experience is a must
• Knowledge and experience in wealth management and FICC is highly advantageous
• 1-3 years of development experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, paired with great interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in English, Chinese is a plus
• Eligibility to work in Hong Kong
• Immediately available would be preferred
