Job Description
We are looking for a talented and creative Videographer to capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual storytelling, technical expertise in camera operation and editing, and the ability to work on a variety of projects, including promotional videos, event coverage, interviews, social media content, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Familiarise with the products and services, the target audience and their competitors’ activities.
- Lead the pre-production; organize schedules, team and equipment.
- Set up lighting, audio, and other technical aspects for optimal video production.
- Direct subjects and scenes to achieve desired visual storytelling.
- Ensure videos are edited, graded and produced to the branding demands.
- Amend, revise or redevelop adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients.
- Provide useful thoughtful and constructive contributions to team meetings and conversations.
- Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with other creative team members.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills: can take ownership of a task/project with excellent attention to detail.
- Maturity of thought and confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues & management.
- Collaborate with other disciplines including production companies, photographers, designers, copywriters and printers.
- Ability to demonstrate excellence in creativity across multiple media.
- Maintain and organize video equipment (cameras, lenses, stabilisers, microphones, etc.).
- Archive footage and manage digital assets efficiently.
Requirements:
- University degree or above in a relevant discipline and at least 1 years experience in equivalent role; or other qualifications plus 2+ years relevant experience.
- Ability as an excellent cameraman as well as the ability to direct a team.
- Excellent knowledge, experience and natural interest in the latest filming equipment.
- Know how to use the equipment fluently (e.g. lens: what lens to use, what ISO, what f-stop, what colour balance...; or what lighting to use....) to get the shot needed.
- Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Familiarity with drones, gimbals, and other filming equipment is a plus.
- Tech savvy and up to date with the latest trends and innovations.
- Meticulous planning and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated, creative, independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Have a positive and passionate approach with a can-do attitude.
