Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Business Development to join our team. This role will assist the Head of the department in overseeing sales management, driving growth, and expanding our presence in the Hong Kong and China markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head in managing department sales operations and strategies.
  • Lead the expansion of the sales team by overseeing the recruitment of top talent, facilitating the onboarding process, and promoting professional development to meet business growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue.
  • Supervise sales management activities, ensuring robust trade monitoring and compliance with business models.
  • Develop and maintain tailored platforms to meet the unique needs of high-net-worth clientele, enhancing the service offerings of Garvis Capital.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by the Head.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, including at least 5 years in a managerial role focused on sales management, recruitment, or training.
  • Possession of SFC and IA licenses.
  • Strong knowledge of wealth management and investment products.
  • Creative, customer-centric mindset with excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is a plus.
  • Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for the Senior Vice President role.
