Veterinary Tutor / Lecturer are important members of today’s modern veterinary team. They work alongside veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses to share their professional knowledge with the team & public, ensuring that the work environment safety, strengthen veterinary knowledge, the wellbeing of small animal patients is paramount and pet caring knowledge is shared with the pet owner or any potential candidates who are interested in our industry.

 Main Duties:

  • Lead, manage effective teaching and delivering courses in the areas of pet care, pet healthcare, pet grooming, veterinary science, or related fields while ensuring adherence to academic quality assurance standards;

  • Develop and implement assessment processes and tools that meet industry skills standards

  • Develop effective working relationships with students, client groups and staff by participating in team meetings, industry groups and student events

  • Contribute to the development, implementation and review of educational programs

  • General administration including managing student attendance, progression and feedback

 Requirements:

  • Current industry skills and relevant knowledge in pet care, pet healthcare, grooming, veterinary science, or any related to the training and assessments being provided;

  • AIRC Certificate IV would be preferred;

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, industry partners and stakeholders;

  • Be self-motivated, willingness to work collaboratively and independently within a dynamic and energetic environment;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office;

  • Excellent Communication & Presentable Skills;

  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese for effective communication and teaching delivery;

  • 5 years of veterinary nursing experience
