We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Student Affairs Office:


Temporary Clerk (Scholarships) (SAO) (Ref: 25002GW)


Major Duties and Responsibilities 
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: 

  • Performing general clerical duties to support the operation of the team;
  • Providing administrative support and processing applications of various scholarship and award schemes including the funding support for global learning activities;
  • Preparing publicity materials, updating application and nomination forms/ guidelines/ reports, and managing the scholarship/award records in the University system;
  • Assisting in planning and executing activities including briefing seminars for students/staff and training sessions;
  • Preparing statistic and reports, arranging scholarship and award payment, updating and maintaining website;
  • Answering students' enquiries in relation to scholarships and awards; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics, preferably a recognized degree;
  • Good communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
  • Proficiency in computer applications, have knowledge in graphic design and video-editing would be an advantage.

Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.


Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
