Technician (MagIC2025-008)

Job Description:

• Perform a range of laboratory procedures – including sample preparation/extraction techniques, operation of GC/LC-MS/MS instrumentation
• Regular testing of clinical samples.
• Validation of new assay as required.
• Meticulous record keeping.
• Training junior staff members

Job Requirements:

• Have a MSc or PhD qualification in organic chemistry or equivalent.
• Able to conduct scientific project with minimal supervision /guidance, capable of performing data analysis and troubleshooting. Experience in experiment design, method development and method validation is preferred
• Have good communication skills and interpersonal relationship. Able to communicate experimental processes and scientific conclusions. Work independently and fit as a team.
• Good knowledge of computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work flexibly and be trustworthy.
• Immediately available is highly preferred.

This position is offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
