Job Description

The System Analyst will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and supporting the firm’s financial systems, ensuring seamless integration with business processes. The role involves troubleshooting system issues, implementing enhancements, and evaluating the feasibility implementation of more suitable ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, financial system expertise, and experience in system implementation within a finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Deltek financial systems to support accounting, project costing, and reporting.

  • Collaborate with Finance, IT teams or external consultants to identify system improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow optimizations.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional system specifications.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for potential system migration.

  • Assist in data migration, system integration, and UAT.

  • Provide end-user training and support for financial systems.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows and user guides.

  • Troubleshoot system issues, liaise with vendors, and ensure timely resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data security standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably in a finance/accounting environment.

  • Strong expertise in Deltek (Costpoint/Vision/Vantagepoint) – configuration, reporting, and integration.

  • Experience with Sage products is a plus.

  • Knowledge of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, project accounting, budgeting) is an advantage

  • Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and training skills for non-technical users.
