At Skin Laundry, this hybrid role of Store Manager and Training Manager is a dynamic leader who embodies our brand’s business and culture. This individual is goal-oriented, well-organized, and possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal. They will ensure compliance across all areas of customer service, store operations, outreach efforts, and store profitability while also focusing on the training and development of our team.
What your role will entitle: This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities but is a representation of the wide range of responsibilities. Main objectives include, but are not limited to:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, motivate, and coach therapists and staff to achieve success, collaborating with other Store Manager and Regional Manager to identify opportunities and strengths within the team.
- Develop a magnetic team culture by providing regular feedback, coaching, and individual development plans.
- Conduct regular meetings with management to discuss business updates, issues, and opportunities for growth.
Training & Performance Management
- Train and coach newly hired therapists, ensuring they meet the therapist training schedule and upload supporting materials to the Medical Operation Team.
- Plan and perform refresher training for existing therapists to maintain high standards of treatment care and customer service.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure all store operations adhere to company standards, including HR practices, treatment protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Manage stock inventory and forecasting for both services and retail, ensuring medical supplies are adequately stocked.
- Communicate and arrange scheduled or ad-hoc maintenance for laser machines.
Customer Experience & Issue Resolution
- Provide support in any adverse reactions and address customer issues and queries promptly, escalating to the Medical Operation Director when necessary.
- Evaluate existing business procedures and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Sales & Marketing
- Customize local store marketing and outreach plans, collaborating with the Marketing department to build brand awareness and promote sales through effective in-store events.
- Analyze and achieve budgets and expenses on P&L to identify opportunities for cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Adaptability
- Demonstrate the ability to understand and adapt to changes, recognizing their importance for business growth.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant beauty experience and training, with 3 or more years in supervisory or management roles.
- Strong skills in all areas of training, onboarding and store management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of strategic thinking.
- A passion for customer service and the beauty industry, with a pleasant personality.
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese.
- Basic computer skills
