STEAM Teacher (Mechanical & Electronic Background) - Full-Time

Are you an experienced educator with a solid engineering background? We are seeking a Full-Time STEAM Teacher to inspire students through innovative courses in technology and design. If you have expertise in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, along with skills in 3D design, CoSpaces, and Unity, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact!

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire and Engage: Teach STEAM courses using hands-on projects that ignite creativity among primary and secondary students.

• Dynamic Presentations: Deliver engaging lessons in Cantonese and English, utilizing interactive tools and methods.

• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the education team to enhance and refine the curriculum.

• Classroom Management: Prepare and maintain a dynamic learning environment, setting up and cleaning the classroom before and after classes.

• Class Review Support: Track student progress and provide supportive feedback to help them achieve goals.

• Documentation: Capture and document learning moments through photos and videos for future reference and sharing.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Tertiary education or an associate degree, must have a strong foundation in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with coding, IoT, robotics, AR, VR, AI, or 3D printing is essential.

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Micro:bit and Arduino; knowledge of Raspberry Pi.

• Other Skills: Experience with electronics, circuits, 3D printing, and 3D modelling.

• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with React, Unity, VR, AR, or Oculus Quest.

• Teaching Experience: At least 3 years of teaching experience.

• Teaching Affinity: Passion for working with children and creating a fun learning environment.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Cantonese.

• Communication Skills: Ability to present complex concepts clearly and engagingly.

• Enthusiasm for Teaching: Patience and a love for teaching; prior experience is a essential.

• Team Player: Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
