Hong Kong Centre for Logistics Robotics Limited

The Hong Kong Centre for Logistics Robotics was established in 2020 by The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the support of the InnoHK Clusters of the HKSAR government, with research contributions from the University of California, Berkeley.

The Centre focuses on the research and development (R&D) of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for “future workplace” as well as innovative solutions to the “pressing problems” in the logistics industry. Our centre located in Hong Kong Science Park.

We are looking for Software Engineer

We rely on you to:

• Design, develop, and implement embedded software systems and automation solutions to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to develop web backend solutions.
• Integrate embedded systems with web applications to ensure seamless communication and functionality.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Troubleshoot and debug both embedded and web backend applications to ensure performance and reliability.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code following the industry’s best practices.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in embedded systems development using C/C++.
• Proficiency in web backend development using Python/Java.
• Familiarity with ROS2 is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and data modelling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
