Job descriptions

• Oversee day-to-day running and operation of eatery, to maximise sales and productivity, manpower efficiency and customer service standards
• Ensuring exceptional customer experiences including managing day-to-day restaurant booking system and customer requests via phone and various online platforms.
• ⁠⁠Supervising, training and mentoring shop staff, including barista and other FOH personnels and participates in the onboarding and training of new team members
• Coordinate, plan, and delegate work among team – (monthly rotas, manage breaks etc.).
• Monitor, review and report team members’ performance, act as a role model of the highest standard and reinforce team motivations and morale. Lead by example, demonstrating via floor coaching and mentoring
• Monitor and maintain inventory of needed supplies, ensuring availability at all times. Where appropriate, source and suggest alternatives with aim to maximise quality vs cost
• Ensure eatery maintains a high standard of cleanliness and safety
• Monitor sales and ⁠identify strategies to retain and attract new customers
• Manages and coordinate pre-orders, online orders with customers and delivery team in a prompt manner and ensure orders are fulfilled

• Assist in social media planning and posting

  Role qualifications

• 2 years experience working in a fast-paced cafe/restaurant environment, ideally in a client facing managerial role within the hospitality industry with operational knowledge/experience
• A positive, friendly and professional attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy café environment
• Bonus: Barista experience of at least one year
• Good command in spoken English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)
